Gore'08 Delta Poll

Hi,

IMO, myDD's July straw poll for Prez'08 should have included Gore (who was an exemplary Vice President for our nation), at least to guage the pulse of people on his candidacy. Since Chris didn't include Gore in the (straw poll) on the frontpage, here is a chance to vote for Gore.

[Update:] If you'd like to offset what I think is an unfair handicap for Al Gore, please recommend this diary so that it gets into the "recommended list" and stays there till the main straw poll expires on Friday. Thanks.

Please vote for Gore here if you'd prefer Al Gore to any of the others listed in the main straw poll.

If you have already voted there, but would like to change your vote to Gore, please cast a NEGATIVE vote for the one you have already voted for (by choosing that candidate in poll, instead of Gore or any other candidate), and I will then add one to Gore's tally, and subtract one from that other candidate's tally from the main poll, and post the final tabulations.

Thanks
Neo

ps: Oh, BTW, there were about 460 votes already cast in the main poll when I started this delta-poll.

PLEASE NOTE WHEN YOU VIEW THE POLL RESULTS: the percentage votes/support for Al Gore is the SUM TOTAL of all the first nine choices, and not the percentage on the first line alone.

Gore Poll-why I voted. (none / 0)

My vote is a case of respect for the job he has done so many years. Also the shameful trashing by the repubs and their puppets in the  MSM picking up the smears and misinformation.  It's not about excitement but experience. Experience in all the fights and progressive causes we need fighting, not just being pushed backwards like so many other democrats are allowing themselves to be.

Only Dean gets more negatives among the leading Dems because he stands up for Democrats and policy, not a mythical "average voter".  Good lesson in a bedrock stand vs. shifting with fickle "taste'.
